Washington Dubois

I've been working with AWE, a local non-profit, to create a mural with some 6th graders. I've been working with the master muralist, Ras Ammar Nsroma, and the results were awesome! heres a few pics of the piece and the finished vinyl mural on the corner of the school!

OnMilwaukee Shout Out

OnMilwaukee gave me a little shout out for Dj BizzOn's rap battle that happened this last Friday. The best line of the night? "You dis' her again, you're gonna get slapped and punched, so when you smile it'll look like a bowl of Captain Crunch. " Too sweet. Here's a quick picture of the piece I did. Kinda rough, but should get sewn up further as time goes on. The paints i was using were hella thick and a little rough to work with. Gotta remember that for future reference ...

A flyer for a show coming up the friday after Thanksgiving. Rap Battles a plenty. I think I'm going toe to toe with some other painters or something?! I don't really know. I've got some mad shit I'm about to drop, though. Not my worried face. I'll have images right after it all goes down.

rooted sketch

The sweet sweet vibe that is the root theory has been on my back burner for the past few months, too much school stuff going on, but a new shirt design is juust over the horizon with a possible collab with a local record label that will remain unnamed as to not jinx it.
here's the link - buy a shirt, please.

Moct Show

Just a little Diddy I did the second week of Nov. Live music, undercover underagers, the chillest. MOCT, need I say more? Better Images to come as soon as I get these pieces back ...

Images from Made in Milwaukee show early nov 2010

The Formatting needs some work, but These are just a few shots from Made in Milwaukee this year Titled "Burn the Note." Pretty sweet turnout for Turner Hall Ballroom, which happens to be one of my favorite places to hang out. The ambience is too cool. Old, Burned out walls, crumbling pillars, warped floor. You might think I'm talking trash, but it's actually very beautiful. Anyways, lets all hope that when they do get the funding and remodel that all the texture and grit of the place won't be plastered over.

The Primer To Field

What's going on, People?

So, I've had this forcestylee site up for a while, but have pretty much neglected it from the start. I'm going to keep this linked to cool stuff I've found and projects I'm working on. Hopefully, it can serve as a tool to keep me on task. Rock.

A message from our Friendly Neighborhood Curator ...

This is my blog, spread the word ... here's a little video I made of a live piece I did at Roast Coffee house ... My friend Patrick Walter helped me edit it and put it to the song "Don't sweat the Technique" by Eric B and Rakim ... please don't sue me for using your song, guys. It rocks.
