Live Painting @ Splash

Hola, everyone. It's been a while, but that's because it's been a crizazy time, lately. I've landed a few new jobs and have been trying to sharpen my skills at screen printing. This spring/early summer, I should have some cool new stuff to show off/hock. 

Anyways, this was done over a couple of hours during gallery night at Splash Studios down in the 3rd Ward. If you've never been, check them out. It's a chill and different way to spend and evening. The colors bleed out a little with the shot I've got, but it's a big piece that I think was smashed out really really well. More to show soon!

Got this pic from a friend who happened to have a camera ready at my live painting session down at the Milwaukee City Hall!?! What? City Hall? Yes. A totally sweet experience; live dancing, painting, photography, music, even pottery. The size and flow of the space was perfect, I even included a pic of how happy I looked just to prove to you that I'm not lying.

Got a few pics here from the show last night. Some are with my crappy phone camera, others were taken by my buddy, Peter Crysdale. There may even be a time lapse of this thing in the future ... who knows. The piece was 4'x4'.

Retrofitting the blog

Back from a long hiatus to bring some new work. This stuff was from a show from Art Milwaukee where I was paired up with Daniel Fleming to collab a piece. The event was held down at the Pritzlaff building, I think we jived pretty well on it. More pictures will get posted as they roll in. 

It was definitely a positive experience, there's a few full shots on their way.
